Yesterday Adidas unveiled the official boot collection for the 2014 World Cup, The Battle Pack. Each boot in the pack comes in a distinctive black and white colorway representing Adidas’s “All in or Nothing” Campaign:
The only color featuring on the boots is the fiery gold colors of the iconic three stripes of adidas, representing the ultimate reward of the FIFA World Cup trophy… The black and white patterns of the boots have been inspired by the warpaint of native warriors and the iconic pavement patterns of ancient Mesopotamia perfected on the Copacabana beach.
The only boots that have another color are Messi’s f50, which feature the Argentina blue. It will be interesting to see how these boots stand out on pitch against the bright colors of the Nike World Cup collection. Popular players to look out for wearing the Battle Pack: Luis Suarez, Oscar, Dani Alvez, Mesuit Ozil, and of course Lionel Messi.
